Reliance Big TV ties up with 50,000 Post Office Branches for booking of HD Set-Top Box

Reliance Big TV has tied up with 50,000 post offices across Indian states
including Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Manipur,
Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim for the booking of Reliance Big TV
"HEVC HD Set-Top Box".
Regarding this partnership with India Post, Vijender Singh, and
Director of Reliance Big TV said, "With the latest offer, Reliance Big TV
has strengthened its entry in the digital entertainment industry of India. Now
every household in India can have HD HEVC enabled set-top box. Now we will get
free-to-air high quality entertainment, and more students will be able to use
education related material free of charge. Our HD HVC set-top box can be booked
from post offices located across the country.'
Singh further said, "With this partnership, Reliance
Big TV has increased its reach because India Post is also in the remote areas
of India. Customers are required to book their own HD HDC set-top box by paying
500 rupees."
Reliance Big TV already started pre-booking for HD HEVC
Set-Top Box from official website. For this consumer have to pay online Rs.500
and after that at the time of installation consumer have to pay again Rs.1500 +
Rs.250 installation charges. After that they can watch HD+SD pay channels till
one year and free-to-air channels for five years.
From 2nd year, consumers will receive its original benefits
in from of loyalty and they can enjoy all pay channels at Rs.300 only. If consumer
continually watches 3 years including one free year then after 3 years they
will get Rs.2000 loyalty bonus cash in form of DTH recharge. So again consumers
can watch HD pay channels for about 1.6 years.
