Doordarshan Upgrading from Terrestrial to DVB-T2 and DVB-H Technology
Terrestrial Broadcasting vs. DVB-T2 Broadcasting:
In India Terrestrial regular daily transmission started in 1965 as a part of All India Radio. It runs by old TV antennas on the roofs for analogue television. But now Prasar Bharati announced for DVB-T/DVB-T2 transmission. DVB-T2 is the digital terrestrial television and thus comparable to the old TV antennas. It can be also used as an indoor antenna. you can also use your old antenna for DVB-T2.
DVB-H Broadcasting:
DVB-H still in the testing is digital television for mobile phones; it has very high signal frequency then DVB-T2 that is called DVB-H. If the time has come, with DVB-H and a correspondingly equipped mobile phone, you will be able to watch mobile television on the go.

DVB-H channels also can be watch on DVB-T2 devices but DVB-H may not receive due to limitation of frequency decoders in Mobile phones. But it depends mobile manufacturers that what type of decoder he used in mobile devices for DVB-H.

Although some headset also coming which has DVB-H decoder or functionality to watch channels on mobile.
