DTH CAM (CI Slot) Portability may come in Indian Market from
March 2013
Now Cable and DTH provider can provide CAM portability
service in Latest TV Sets. BIS Also thinking to set portability service in
current set-top box and TVs.
According to Hindustan times Hindi News paper, now no need
install set-top box because some TV companies
bringing new TV models with CAM module (CI slots) so you can watch any DTH
service or Cable TV service in your TV.
This technology may not fit to your old set-top box; in new
television have a new feature. So wait till March 2013 to changes in DTH and
cable TV world.
