Good News :- DD Tender Invites For Expansion Of New 16 More Channels DD Direct Plus DTH

Prasar Bharati invites tenders notice for supply of expansion of Doordarshan's DTH platform 'DD direct Plus' from 59 to 75 TV channels in Todapur. It may take time till June 2012 for setting up the hardware and then conducting auctions for new channel slots. Earlier Doordarshan launched new satellite GSAT-8 For DD Direct Plus channels, but till now no use of that satellite. Now may be they don't want to move on new satellite so they announced for this tender. Channels format will be same as MPEG-2, Now news for DVB-S2 or MPEG-4 format. DD Direct plus users should wait for MPEG-4 or HD Channels.
