In January 2018, Reliance Digital TV was acquired by Pantel Technologies & Veecon Media. After two month in March 2018, Reliance Digital TV launched a India's biggest DTH offer " 1 Year Pay channels and 5 Year Free to Air channels Free" with HEVC Set-Top Box in Rs.1500+499+250 where Rs.499 for pre-booking charges, Rs.1500 Final booking charges at the time of installation, and Rs.250 for installation charges.

Now Reliance Digital TV renamed as Independent TV. Company launched new HEVC set-top box, new channels pack, and new official website. The main surprise is that there is no monthly plan, all plans available on Independent TV website in yearly wise.
