Pradeep Singh / New Delhi: Dear Friends, It is good news that Disney India yesterday announced that from October 2014 a brand new TV channel "Bindass Play" going to launch at place of UTV Star, Bindass Play have its new tag line “ Sath hai to baat hai”.
UTV Star is 3 year old TV channels which are showing latest information of Bollywood with latest songs.
According to Siddhartha Roy Kapoor, managing director, The Walt Disney Co India, Bindass has spoken the voice of the youth over the last few years. "It is a channel with which the youth can relate to and represents what their concerns are. UTV Stars was an interesting channel in our mix but we wanted to build a channel that can complement Bindass Brand."
Nikhil Gandhi, VP and Head of Revenue, Disney India, commented, “The channel has managed to get in four brand partners, details of which will be revealed later. Both Bindass and Bindass Play will be sold separately to the advertisers and not as a package.”
Bindass Play would be available all major DTH platforms and MSOs. But you may not receive this channel in your package due its cost. But you can order this channel by a-la-cart pack.
I am eagerly waiting for 1 October to watch this channel with new face.
