DD Direct Plus Doing Delay for Add New Channels on its DTH Platform

DD Direct plus India's first free DTH Services is delaying to add new channels. Last eauction was going to held on November Last week but still no status.

Some source says that DD Direct Plus DTH earn 18.7 millions but How many channels taking part in these latest e-auctions, no news!!.

Last time our TrackDish Team member contacted to Doordarshan Department they told that they are going  to add few channels in December start and remaining going to add in start week of January.


At this time 3 slots are still vacant on Insat 4B ku-Band Transponders. It has capacity to carrry a total of 59 channels because some capicity already bounded by FM channels. At this time DD Direct plus carrying 19 Doordarshan channels and 37 other private channels.
